The purpose of this lesson is to expose the student to learning increased awareness to their surroundings and being very proactive with what they see, and react to the situation that they have by learning habits of increased following distance, keeping space on all four sides, looking in the mirror every time before they change their speed.  Making sure the student forms habits of clearing the intersection before entering by looking left right left right.
