The purpose of this lesson is to expose them to night driving, giving them a chance to contend with the glare of lights either from in front or behind us.  To teach them the value of moving eyes and head at all times. For them to recognize that the first two things we lose in the dark is depth perception and contrast. They must learn that if the lights are bothering them, they should look to the right edge of the road.  Also that we should never over drive the headlights which means we need to be able to stop within the distance that our headlight shine.
